Background Genesis is an event attracting over 600 delegates from over 20 countries. The event was established in 2002. The event wanted to increase the ROI for delegates as many of the delegates need to collaborate with each other to move their biotech products faster to market. For the first time in 2011 they worked with the UKTI to ensure that the collaborations we enhanced and developed further for the benefit of UK companies.
Results There we over 1500 one to one meetings between over 300 delegates. Background Biotrans is an international academic conference which attracts over 600 delegates bi-annually to this major academic event. The objective of the event is to increase collaborations between researchers and industrial biotech companies. The organiser required a full ya-yaonline Total package which includes registration, partnering and a promotional website for the event.
Results The organisers now a major portal which professional promotes the event. Delegates can easily register through the system and partnering opens in a few months. Results The event attracted over 200 delegates and many delegates reported back how easy the system was to use.

Background The event is now in its 3rd year and the organisers we looking to increase the attendance at the event. The ya-yaonline team worked with BITC to create a fully content managed web and event management system. The delegates attending were HR Directors from many of the key major corporates in the UK including Tesco, John Lewis, KPMG, Boots Alliance etc.
Results 250 delegates attended the event and organised over 200 one-to-one meetings. BITC commented "We were not convinced that delegates would want to network as they were so senior. We are delighted with the results - delegates reported true ROI on the event."
